What does Mars with Venus in 8th house signifies in general (specific case, for Capricorn ascendant).

What effect it have on persons personality and life?

For Capricorn ascendant, Mars is fourth and eleventh lord while Venus is fifth and tenth lord, therefore fourth, fifth, tenth and eleventh house matters will be somewhat affected unless there is sufficient saving grace otherwise. In general, Mars Venus conjunction makes for a very passionate individual, more so when positioned in the house which rules the Kundalini. This can also lead to  a person achieving true love if the energy can be focused through sadhana depending on the strength of the dharma part.

Well. I also have Ma and Ve in 8th. But I am Ge As and hence Ma is exalted in 8th. This is supposed to be vipareeta raja yoga, though I dont know whether it has already taken effect or yet to take effect
