~~@!@~~ MYSTIC BOARD IS UP AGAIN ~~@!@~~

Post by swetha » Fri Jul 11, 2008 6:38 pm

Hello People,

Welcome back to MytsicBoard.com! Sorry for the inconvenience caused to our members. Haven’t we all missed Mystic Board?

The past few days have been absolutely horrible. The server couldn’t take the load suddenly and became slow initially and ultimately crashed. All kinds of hardware and database tests have been done. After more crashes and tons of problems, the hardware and the OS has been changed and restored. This may have been due to some people making hacking attempts on the forum with a malicious intention.

Until then we had decided to shut down the main MysticBoard.com Forum so that at least people can get access to other parts of MysticBoard.com's services such as Mystic Softwares Downloads and Mystic Scripts.

MysticBoard.com forum is back up again. Do let us know if you face any kind of problems.

Best Regards,
Yours Sincerely

Rutho / Swetha
MysticBoard.com Admin

PS: We promise to shift to bigger server with the next month and possibily make other changes that will solve lots of other problems.

Thank you MUCH for getting things back up & running!

How would I go about bulk registering 5 programs for $15.00? -I know how to pay  :smt005 but the rest, I'm not sure how to register in bulk and worry about screwing the process up.  If I could get some pointers or directions from someone or any one who has done this before, it would be greatly appreciated.  :smt039

bulk register is no more a option... we have withdrawn it. each program has a seperate donation amount and you can see the amount by going to that particulars softwares help or download page.

Thanks for the info!  I'll go look and see what kind of damage I can do to hubbie's credit card!  :smt026

Rhutobello! I was following the links at the bottom of one of your post- I didn't know there was a Mystic Bazaar!  I got sidetracked there!   :smt003   I think maybe I should look around a little bit closer at Mystic Board than I have in the past!

it wont be much... all the softwares are priced to go... we are not really selling for profits sake but to run this board... plus this only is a asking for donations after all.

G'day,
It is great you have sorted the problems out.  I missed not logging in and checking the forum when it was down.  Thankyou for getting the forum up and running agian it is great.  I have not had any problems yet with access or errors, since the forum has been up.

Glad it is up and running.
I was getting withdrawal symptoms.

Connected in the UK about two hours ago Saturday GMT around 22.00.
Thanks for all your efforts to get this site going.

I just got the following error:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

when I tried to follow an email notification link to
http://mysticboard.org/vi ... 607#202607
The link worked from this message- maybe a clitch?

Friday, Eastern US time 8:10 pm est.

Hope it helps you track the bug down...  You're doing great!  I know you probably have your hands full.

Good Luck!

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I've tried to download several MB software files and have only been able to get small KB sized files that are not recognized by Windows.  The last time I tried, the link to download (Tarot Tutor And Glossary Software) led me to an information page.

Attempted program downloads...

Divination Dictionary
Hypnosis
Crystal Healing

... to mention the last few.
