I realise that I may be missing the point here, but please explain:
I have to assume from what you seem to be saying, that you made the “choice” to take on-board your present nihilistic philosophy in the first place and also that to do so was an ego based decision because choices originate in the ego and therefore have no value?
Is this correct?

I feel that the above is insulting to say the least.
Without choices we would all be in size nine boots.
There would be only yes and not no or visa versa.
No choice to be good or evil.
No free will.

My comments are not directed towards people. I hate not the messenger. If one is offended they shouldn't be. It is the message, the ideology that is being addressed. If I am offending, who am I offending? If I can not state how I truly feel and believe than I am a worthless human being! And I am in prisoned by the mind police. Of all places, I would hope that we all can share without restriction. Do I believe in rules and the governing powers. Of course I do. But afford me the human dignity to express myself, truly as I am without labels that make me less than you. Am I asking for too much? When I think of the term Jail, I think of punitive punishment, in the judicial branches of government which are granted these powers legally. Maybe we might consider here the impact and the message that we are communicating to the body (members). That term, is a slippery one when implemented on many levels, wouldn't you agree? There is nothing wrong with choices, just as there is nothing wrong with gold. Al, take a careful look around and examine your position as well, for I find you are inprisoned by a belief system of your own choice. Are we so brittle and so unsure that we can not entertain the possibilities that just maybe we ourselves-might be wrong? Questions, are no questions when you will not let anything in or out.
