Until your devotion to God and awareness of him become complete, don't rest, don't give into sleep when you should be meditating. Never give anything preference before God! His love his the greatest love there is. So long as you let other things come first, He will wait. But your delay will be too long, and your suffering may be great. Don't procrastinate. Be certain in the sincerity of your conscience that you have made the effort to communion with him.
Don't rest, Don't give up until you can see him. with your own eyes. or feel him in your heart.
Birth, Play, Marriage, children. Old age - Life is finished. That is not living! Life is much deeper and more wonderful than THAT.
When you know God, There is no more sorrow.

The earth life is like a pilgrimage back to God! The lessons we learn along the way show us God in many lights.
Lessons can be learned through the joys, the sorrows, the tears, and the laughter of life. Sometimes we just have to choose where we want to be in the lessons. It is all just a journey back to God and His Love for all creation.
God can not take away our sorrows or our joys. That is for us to relinquish in the lessons of life.

When we mishandle things on earth, we tend to 'blame' God for the outcome. When in reality is all just natural law.
When we have joy in life, we tend to overthink it and the next thing you know it seems to disappear in our fears. It is not God, it is our own natural instincts at work.
"ASK GOD"
I asked God to take away my pain.
God said, No. It is not for me to take
away, but for you to give up.
I asked God to make my
handicapped child whole.
God said, No. Her spirit is whole
and her body is only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No. Patience is a
by-product of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No. I give you blessings.
Happiness is up to you.
I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No. Suffering draws you
apart from worldly cares and brings
you closer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No. You must grow on
your own, but I will prune you to
make you fruitful.
I asked for all things that I
might enjoy life.
God said, No. I will give you life so
that you might enjoy all things.
I asked God to help me LOVE others,
as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh,
finally you have the idea.

It speaks to so much we ask for and never appreciate when we get it.

but why should God take away your Karma from you? For joy and sorrow are none but the fruits of karma . Honest karma brings you joy and otherwise sorrow . it is up to you to chose .eye_of_tiger wrote:No but he can feel and share them with us, which can signicantly help to lighten our emotional burden.God can not take away our sorrows or our joys.
Why would any God worth recognising want to take away our joys?
