A note of caution about the use of "alternative medicine"
The best advice is always to see a qualified doctor or specialist about unexplained and recurring back pains, as they may be caused by one of hundreds of different sources.
Back pain may not always be pain coming directly from your back. Pain can be referred from another completely different area.
For example lower back pain can be a symptom of irritable bowel syndrome, or ovarian cancer. Or it might be a simple case of muscular strain.
The doctor needs to look at the whole person or their complete medical history, and not just at a woman who has a pain in her back, artificially isolated from everything else that has happened to her up until then.
It is extremely dangerous to attempt to self diagnose problems in this area as our backs take a lot of abuse and human beings have not yet fully evolved to walking upright on two legs.
Damage which is overlooked can suddenly lead to much more serious and life threatening problems further down the road. Damage can quickly accumulate and almost every major nerve in our bodies passes through our spinal column to our brains.
Any remedies or hints or suggestions for better health given on this forum are ONLY seen as being complementary to and NEVER to be seen as a substitute or alternative to conventional modern medicine. They are only to be used to support proper medical treatment.
