Bad for skin

Post by rozrokz » Fri Sep 28, 2007 3:45 am

Recently, I discovered why i started getting acne like symptoms on my face and neck. Although I use many different products, it did not seem to work but got better as time goes by. Than I realise that it is due to the chemicals from my rebonding and dyeing of hair that caused it. I saw the same type of acne on my daughter (who got a rebonding as a birthday present  :smt009 ) and my housekeeper (who also rebonded her hair). Eureka!
I have since stop doing these things to my hair and voila no pimples!
Now I know why cancer is so rampant in today's society. These toxic chemicals can get into the body through the hair follicles etc and flowing freely in our system.
Modern day affluence is killing us.

i agree with the pollution and all, you just couldnt get enough from just washing your face & all sorts of cleansers.... solution: just try your best to keep you skin clean whenever you ve got the time to cleanse :smt006

:smt006 Hi Nicole, some teenagers are prone to pimples but it could be aggravated by alot of factors like stress, junk food and late nights! I heard that Proactiv work for some people but lose its effectiveness after awhile. I find that going for a regular facial is good to clear up the skin as the deep cleanser removes the dead skin thus lessen the chances of pimple causing bacteria to linger and of course the major cause of scars and more pimples is scratching and peeling the pimples with dirty hands! Big No-no.
If it is difficult to get your son to go for a facial, you can help him at home, just need a pot of steaming hot water, some good deep cleanser, natural peeling lotion (lactic acid) and a mask for acne. Should help if you could do it one week once. And it will be great bonding time as he is stuck for a good hour lying down.  :smt005 .

gee, sounds like I might if it's nap time.. Ha-Ha~!!
My son eats healthy, I don't like giving him junk food..
He might have it once a month..
No red sauce chocolate, and he has his hair cut like a cop cut...
Then his face clears easier...

I like you way better~!!  :smt003
Thanks for taking the time to help me..   :)

Thanks for reading! I have a 14 year old teenage girl and well, right now I just feel like an ATM machine when she needs me. KER_CHING! Maybe this is why we become parents. Than we realise how horrid we were to our own parents and the circle goes on and on like the Duracell rabbit. LOL.
Great to meet you 2.
