# 3 Fiction/sad -- messages from the subconscious

Post by Stephys_cool » Sun Oct 10, 2010 5:36 am

It's on his mind day by day.
He isn't happy, but has nothing to say.

His girlfriend worrys at night she can only cry.
"Do I not make him happy? all I can do is try."

His family doesn't know what he is going through.
It would be better if only they'd knew.

He thinks that only there's one way to care.
That's his girlfriend, the only one there.

He comes home often bruised from a fight,
He crawls in his bed, and crys during the night.

He wants to run, far and free.
"I'll take my girlfriend, just her and me."

She couldn 't believe the idea that he had.
It was unbelievable even if he is sad.

That night haw saw the bruise on his chest.
He tried not to cry, he tried his very best.

His head started aching, the tears started to fall.
He rolled over in his bed, lie there and just boll.

He broke open a razor, and pulled out the blade.
He thought about all the trouble he's made.

He took the blade and pressed it to his skin,
he slit it fast and really deep in.

He fell back, blood went everywhere.
Someone came in, someone who did care.

That someone was his mom, who got down crying.
Begging him to wake up, she thought he was dying.

She grabbed the phone, and called for help.
She got on her knees an started to whelp.

The ambulance came, and took the boy away.
His mother never thought she would see the day.

His girlfriend came to visit him that day.
Tears fell from her face, she didn't know what to say.

She bent down and held him tight.
Her tears she just could not fight.

He lie in a bed bandages everywhere.
But thankfully a heart beat was there.

He opened his eyes grabbing her tight,
he held her close with all his might.

He realized then he no longer could care
all he knew is that his girlfriend was there.
