I've been given an Aqua Aura crystal, which is turquoise in colour and irridescent. I'm told it is a quarz crystal bonded with gold - is this correct? Does anyone know if it has any healing properties, or is it just a beautiful artifact?

Aqua Aura is a man-enhanced crystal, the iridescent sheen is created by elector-magnetically bonding gold onto quartz crystal. Some crystal healers don't like this as they say it interferes with the healing properties, or hurts the original crystal, others find that it is a beautiful crystal that has improved powers.
