VISTA and software compatibility

Is anyone finding any compatibility issues with VISTA?  I'm new and would like to try out alot of software but don't want to screw up my computer with VISTA issues.

I have Vista on my laptop and all the programs I've downloaded from this site have worked perfectly!  Do not fear, go ahead and download. :)
