Reversed 6 of Pents...

I have gave different meanings to this card for different individuals, you have to use your gifts of intuition for this for the best meaning, but the overall meanings are basically the same for me anyway. When this card is upright the meaning is good, so reversed meaning is always negative. Pentegrams are now are the ground under his head, he is upside down, almost like the hanged man, he was once feeding the poor, now the food will be falling out of his hand, out of the beggers mouths. Once he was giving, now he is unable to give, once the stars were over his head now he is falling on them, they are not supporting him anymore.  His good luck has run out. Instead of being able to take care of others, he will seed others to take care of him if not now, then very very soon.  This card almost always will be about a male. If not then someone close to them who is a male brother or husband will lose their job and become very depressed and be very dependant on the female.

The Six Pentacles reversed can mean that the scales have become unbalanced, whereas the upright postion is about giving and receiving, the reversed may well indicate a lean in one direction or the other.
You may be asked for a loan, but the chances are that it will not be returned or you may turn your back on charity and on the needs of others as well as your own. Perhaps it indicates here that you have not learnt to use your wealth in a spitiual or ethical way.

The Six in this position can relate to a lack of generoristy, selfishness and an in ability to share, this can be express in more ways than one, not wanting to share a position of authority, being one example, not willing to share ones knowledge with others etc. and of course it can also relate entirely to ourself by denying ourself the opportunity to progress, perhaps we have become too suspicious of others or lack the basic trust needed in order to go forward.

So in the upright postion the merchant is choosing to create balance  whereas in the reversed he is turning his back on balance.

Just one more meaning to add to all of the above. An unbalanced but long standing relationship may now be coming to an end. Maybe the receiving member has decided to seek his/her own independence -like youngsters leaving their parents' home-. Maybe the giving member has realized nothing good was coming of the situation and has decided to break it.
