Dont' be discouraged. You are right, change is indeed on the way. I keep seeing December as a major timing indication here.
I see a woman with dark brown hair walking towards a destination, slowly but unflinchingly. Good changes ahead and she knows this.

I sense that right now you feel as if something ended and there iis hurt. A glitter of hope is still there though. I see a man, a rather assertive one with some issues. He was a bit harsh.
You asked for change and in November expect a reconciliation.
I keep seeing December. In December I see a love relationship and laughter and good moments between a man and a woman, but there will still be some harmonizing to do.
By february, you will be very happy emotionally and in your love life.

i just wanted to thank you publicly for your reading and time!
and yes i have long thick brown hair  :) and actually i am planning on cutting it a bit right in Dec before flying home... i wish he could cut it as he did in June...
