Joke for the day ( 31st October 2008)
the joke is on me today - I read on one of the mystic notices I had to do 25 posts which had to be worthwhile post - I have been concientiously getting my posts in and finally got my 25 plus - sent off for my registration key and discovered to my horror it has to be 150 posts ...... so now i sit and cry ... i did so want to be registered .... and will hope I can still get to 150 in the required time.
GOLF
Ed stood over his tee shot on the 450 yard 18th hole for what seemed like an eternity. He waggled, looked up, looked down, waggled again, but didn't start his back swing. Finally his exasperated partner asked, 'What in the world is taking so long?'
'My wife is watching me from the clubhouse balcony,' Jim explained. 'I want to make a perfect shot.'
His companion exclaimed. 'You don't have a chance in hell of hitting that bitch from here!'

11 PEOPLE ON A ROPE
Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter.
10 men and 1 woman.
The rope was not strong enough to carry them all,
So they decided that one had to leave,
Because otherwise they were all going to fall.
They weren't able to choose that person,
Until the woman gave a very touching speech.
She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope,
because, as a woman, she was used to giving up everything
for her husband and kids or for men in general, and was
used to always making sacrifices with little in return.
As soon as she finished her speech,
All the men started clapping . . . . . . .
