Why are we supposed to come up with a red hammer?  I'm puzzled.

Actually I meant "expected to", not supposed to.

How cool.    I was stuck a bit between green and red,  I did choose red.  It was like shooting @ me.   For the tool I was thinking hand saw,  and at the last sec.  hammer popped in my mind.

Is the timming 5, 10 seconds?   How does this all work?

Thanks for the fun,          Helen

The reason I was asking why a red hammer, is I guess that the sums distract, and then because we have to think of something quick, we give the most obvious answer.  But putting a colour first stopped me thinking of toolbox-type tools because apart from screwdrivers, mine aren't any obvious colour.  Just wood or metal handles, maybe black rubber handles, and metal.  Has anybody ever seen a red hammer?  So having chosen a colour I was led to "spade" as a tool because I've seen them for sale painted.

Anyone got a red hammer?  Maybe we just don't have them around here!

it should be the first thing that pops up in ur mind. if it was green & handsaw, then that is what came to ur mind.

So u are part of the 2%, or if u want to be more special, u are inbetween the 2% & the 98%, & since u are the only one there, u are cooler than all of us.

No, I doubt it!  I think it's just that my association is different.  If I had thought of a toolbox-type tool, I'm sure I would have picked "hammer" because it's the one most often used.  My toolbox is red, though!

Doesn't matter tish, because what we think of as a tool is different from others. I said "Black Camera" (as a less than amateur photographer (my hobby too) & a camera salesman), the first thing that came to my mind in realtion to the word tool was a Camera.

Green Spade also counts as a tool. If u thought of a red hammer first & then changed to green spade then it is wrong, but if u thought Green Spade in first shot, it is right & cool. So don't worry too much.

Oh yeah, 'tis only for fun!

Did I say sometime I'd grown out of wanting to know "why, why?"  Maybe not!

Neither am I, so don't worry. The test is for fun. But there is a hidden meaning behind this. That I am sure of, but don't know what it is.

If you look close enough it will come to you.

Yes, but we should be ready to look for it & until we aren't ready, we won't find it, however much we desire for it.

The question is, how hard have you looked?

The answer is I tried very hard & missed seeing some stuff right in front of my eyes. Then I didn't try to look at all (for my entire life) & yet one fine day I realised something, but my luck, never got it. Now I am back to trying hard to look, lets hope I find it this time.
