"Bringers of the Dawn"

I just finished this book. Has anyone else read it? What did you think?

I really liked it. I'm not really a fan of most "channeled" material, and aliens are not a huge part of my personal belief system. So, some of it was a bit rich for my taste -- my eyes sort of glazed over during the chapter on crop circles -- but a lot of the ideas in the book were really inspiring. I especially liked the message that you can choose which systems to buy into and which paradigms to fuel; we're conditioned to bow down before God or State or even just What People Say, and this book advocates examining the goals of those systems and following your own inner voice when you don't find them empowering or beneficial. I also like the idea that you can perform a service for the planet just by living as an empowered and independent person; it's not grandiose or missionary, but it encourages you to make your life an inspiration to the people around you. Good times.
