Taken out of context with the rest of your dream, it is difficult to say what it means to you

The most probable meaning of the snake as well as its colour can only be accurately determined in the context of the rest of your dream at that time in your life as a whole.
Snakes are one of the most common dream symbols of all time, as is clearly shown to be the case from the Biblical book of Genesis and the serpent in the Garden of Eden which tempts and wins over Eve with the apple, onwards.
