Please help.. I'd like thoughts on unintentionally remembering past dreams!

Hi...
I'm a new member and am intrigued by all the discussions!..
I randomly (or maybe not so randomly) came across this site...  :smt002

Anyway, over the past couple of years I find myself remembering dreams that I had years ago just as i'm trying to fall asleep. I am always awake when this happens and can recall so many details in an instant!.
I am certain that these are old dreams resurfacing.
The thing that I find so unusual is that I didn't remember them when I woke(so long ago) but somehow, now, they are all coming back to me.

Please share any thoughts...

Dreams are about our unresolved emotions from our conscious state.  The symbols of people, places, things are there to help with the interpretation of these emotions.  And the dreamer is the symbols.

If a dream re-occurs it is because the emotions of a situation have not yet been resolved in the conscious state.
