Shapes in vaastu

As per vaastu shastra buildings are supposed to be Square or rectangular  is for the solitary reason that the energy formation takes place only at Right angles ie., 90degrees so it has to be strictly followed, where the same applies for the compound walls of the building.
In my opinion a perfect square building is best cause the energy is equally distributed.
In a rectangular building energy is stretched a bit.

The best shape for the building is square and then rectangular. All the four corners should be at right angles. No portion should be cut or projected outside the four corners. Some people do it just to beautify the building. But this is wrong.
