Do some charity work for the holidays

Post by happyme » Wed Dec 16, 2009 7:13 pm

A great way to give back and share some positive light with others is by arranging with family and friends to do a charity outing. Donations are great yes, but what is as important if not even more so, is the quality time you give to those in need. You give them hope and motivation in very hard times, and they give back to you by showing you in many ways how strong their faith is even when they seem to be at rock bottom. How many of us in a better current situation can own that sort of faith. So in the end, it ultimately serves as a two way healing process. It's great when you can do it all the time, but if not, at least try and do it during the season of giving. Bring back the true meaning of Christmas and start the New Year on the right footing.  2010 is a year of change; so let it be positive change. :)

Seasons greetings to all!  :smt006

Like I said,

"It's great when you can do it all the time, but if not, at least try and do it during the season of giving."

Blessings!  :)
