Inanimate matter would not contain soul.  Matter must receive the breath of life to contain life.

Breath of Life, a living soul. Very interesting! What may I conclude from all this? That I existed prior to my birth? Or, that I didn't exist prior to the breath of life? Am I therefor a crystallized spirit? Is it all on automatic? Who or what created this marvelous (All of us) this wonderful house called the body? Pretty heavy!!

I believe I existed before my birth and that I made the choice, with some of the family members, to be born into the family I was born into. That has been some of my memory when I have meditated.
Others beliefs may differ.

Okay Tourbi, lets assume that is the case and you chose the life you now live, why the veil of forgetfulness? Conclusion is that you could choose to be a clone in this life, is that correct?

Yes, and it can be as much of a temple as this one is.

I don't know why the veil of forgetting.  Never have gotten an answer for that one.

What are your thoughts on all of this?

I think we are all inanimate objects.  :smt005 Really! The highest plane I know, there is no individuality, only one of us here. It's having it all and yet, no one to share it with, all that love and all that glory. I think the best answer is He created us all, so He might have fellowship with us. It's paradoxical. The One becomes the many! We are simply watching ourselves walk by. It's why I like your name, your just touring by   :smt005

In some form human beings are co-creators of life - our parents have the seeds and means to impregnate it into life.  Somewhere in the process is the breath (soul) of life.

I would affirm a prior soul life - I see the soul like a seed sown in the human being to be nurtured and grow, just as in nature.  It has been taken from God's garden and implanted in the human garden.  Perhaps a reason we have no memory of a prior life?
God bless, J
