Types of chart and which chart to be used

Hello everyone,
Here i want to ask sumthing and please everyone is invited to express his/her view.

1. For all the over all life prediction purpose and looking for yogas which chart we should use.
Nirayana bhaav chalit chart or lagna chart.
Sum people says that we should use niryana bhaav chalit chart to see planet's house and lagna chart to see the zodiac in which they are placed.But when it comes to mangal doshas, kalsarpa yoga or Raj yoga which chart we should consider.

2. Moreover i think moderator should add one more topic explaining types of charts in vedic astrology and their purpose.

lagna chart shud be used for genaralized predictions about nature of the person, relations, yogas , aspects of planets and its results, and predictions for sub-periods.

bhava chart indicates mahadasha predictions like venus 20 yrs etc.

ex: venus might be in pisces in lagna chart, but moved to aries in bhava chart.
general predictions of venus period 20 yrs will be as if it's in aries, but sub-periods will be based on lagna chart's positions only.

venus acts as if its in both houses but more in aries.

but nature,aspects etc shud be from venus in pisces.

Thank you,i have been asking this question for long and no one was able to give satisfactory answer.But do u think that this concept of taking house from lagna and zodiac from bhaav chalit chart is totally wrong.
R u gona consider my advice for adding one more topic explaining types of chart and what they show in this forum.

i myself believe that bhava chart is useful in very rare conditions, where few things can't be judged from lagna chart.
usually i go by lagna/rasi chart only.(unless there's a lagna sandhi(lagna being on border of 2 signs or a imp. planet is in such position)

read some books by Dr.B.V.Raman. he'll explain why bhava chart is useful.
its hard to explain here...

Dear Virinchi ,
You are really fast .If thats how this part of this forum works i would love to be part of it and would surely try to help in interpretation of few charts coz i use to do astrology sometime ago but just took a break to understand few other stuffs like about lal kitab and vedic astrology and other types.
Actually i got confused after meeting few people that which type of astrology should i follow.coz sumtimes i find lal kitab to be very helpful in changing bad time and other times i find vedic and Kp to be very detailed .Whcih type of astrology you find to be more easier and which one you follow yourself.
What do u think about lal kitab.

i learned vedic method and follow mostly lahiri and b.v.raman's ayanamsa and ephemeris.
i found dates of dashas accurate with raman's ephemeris.

no idea of lal kitab.

i don't see anything like hosptality for u.
ur 10th owner venus is in 11th and doin bad and sun in leo ascedent makes u restless with ppl's problems.
though moon in pisces shows sympathy showing and caring nature, jupiter being in 6th to moon and moon being 8th to jupiter (sakata yoga) shows huge ups n downs in life.

also biggest prob is rahu in 12th who can destroy all good features of a chart.
also mercury being combust in ascedent,ketu in 6th, and saturn in 2nd indicates financial hiccups.
mars in 3rd will cause harm to siblings(if any).

sun in leo ascedent..hmm..will hurt eye sight/eyes/opthalmic problems.

venus in 11th is useless(its the only useless planet in 11th..rest all r good)

only saving grace is jupiter in ascedent.

anyway current period is ok and suitable only for marriage/love (venus dasha)

you better chose a career , where u assist someone with stronger horoscope

with bad rahu, burned mercury, afflicted ketu, useless venus,bad sun, bad saturn, bad mars, .hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm do u still think i can hav good period,But thank you anyway.

right now its favourable only for love/marriage and nothing else.
venus is the only bad planet in in 11th house. rest all are ok.
but for ur ascedent venus semi-trine jupiter is good which is right time to chose a partner.

rest are weak

11th house is multiplication factor.
labha sthana. so any planet owning a bad place (venus owns 3rd and 10th for leo ascedent - natural benefics owning squares(4,7,10) become evils- according to parasara) and placed in 11th becomes more evil

Some people says that mercury with sun in ascendant makes person inclined towards astrology but as you are saying that in my chart mercury has got burned.
So is there any particular condition or particular degree in which mercury gets burned.

mercury in general in lagna is good and if sun also exists, it indicates 'budhaditya yoga'
this yoga is only when merc+sun are in 1,3,8 positions . and also when mercury is atleast 12deg away from sun and this combo is free from conjunctions or views of saturn,mars,rahu,ketu
