Payewacker's Tarot - Discussion on Four of Wands.

Post by Payewacker » Fri Feb 05, 2010 1:41 pm

Symbolism:
Castle: Spiritual and financial success,
Solid structure.
Bridge: Obstacles overcame.
Garlands: Festivity
Element: Fire           Direction: East.     Season: Spring.

Ruled by The Emperor.

Card Description.
With a castle in the background atop a rocky cliff and a bridge crossing a river or mote we find four Wands planted forming a square. They are connected with garlands and two maidens joyously dancing between them.

Meaning: “Joy and celebration”
This is another card of success; it signifies celebration and joy after a time of hard work. It also describes an opportunity to take a well earned vacation, rest and relaxation. A predominant hint of possible marriage and the festivities associated with this is also described. The card indicates movement in your personal and business relationships and the realization of exciting new opportunities. You are also experiencing that sigh of relief after having some obstacles and troubles, meaning that you overcame these and are now in a period where turmoil is resolved.

Upright:
Merriment, festivities, established success. Prosperity and comfort. A time of rest.

Well to say the least, you are reminded that life is not trouble free, these you experienced and “won the battle”, now you are ready to enjoy the fruits of your determination. Not forgetting the celebrations, the possible marriage and festivities. Maybe you and your partner reached the point where you have joined forces and endured whatever was thrown at you. Your relationship is now so much stronger. You have established a sound base for your business and all that hard work resulted in quiet success and harmony. Snares and obstacles are out of the way, it made space to celebrate and enjoy the good things in life.

Reversed:
Dissatisfaction, ingratitude, progress but with no substantial rewards. Stagnant relationships.

Your business and personal relationships may have entered a time of stagnation. You are still experiencing the last remnants of the troubles you experienced before. At this time you may see the mountain ahead as a huge obstacle, but you have the potential to win this battle. You will most probably be spending a lot of time working at your business or your relationship. This would be the best opportunity to then strengthen your business base, unfortunately at the cost of your personal relationships. The frustration adding to dissatisfaction with yourself and your situation. You need to consider your approach and endeavor to alter it a bit or change your attitude, gear yourself for success, and it will be yours.

Hi Guys,

How can we see or consider this card to be a resistance?

Blessed be.
