Hi Guys,

Discussions on Position 3.

Card 3: This crowns you.

This card describes your perceived  goals in this matter, and if it will be achieved at this time. This card is essentially the ideal aim, it is also the fruit of Aleph (Primary thought) (1) animated into your Beth (container) (2) and sebsequent Beths (thoughts on the containment of Aleph). We can understand it being the first movement in Gimmel (3) (first result of the pairing of 1 and 2), by which it has not met with resistance, being Dalled (4).

Therefore it describes the near future, understanding that card one is your current situation, card two, how you will deal or contain card 1, in card 2. Card two is an obstacle in it’s own right, for it is a limiting factor to the untamed energy in card one. This card, in describing the immediate future may explain what you may receive, whether it is what you want or perhaps not your goal and may explain what may happen, whether you like it or not.

This card, being ruled by the Empress, is the first point at which fertility and development can be described.

We need to remember the interaction between Aleph and Yod. In Lammed (4) we find the response or resistance to movement. Aleph, position 1, and the card it contains, will remain the underlying influence in the dance of “life-death” principal.

"Gimmel is spelled Gimmel- Mem- Lammed   (3.40.30):   (uncontrolled) movement - passive resistance - (controlled) movement shows archetypal movement penetrating the biosphere (any pattern of biological resistance) and giving rise to organic, controlled, movement (biological equilibria).

“3/Gimmel's archetypal movement, a direct result of the infinite energy of Aleph upon its containers (Beths) is infinite and uncontrolled -- it has not yet met the resistance of life (4/Dallet) -- although its structure (Mem-Lammed) is rooted entirely in the existential-level energies (40-30) of biological response and (controlled) movement.

Gimmel is, in fact, defined as a double (biological) movement: the uncontrolled outer flow of life (3) and the inner, controlled balance. Lammed, Ghimmel's mirror in existence reverses the equations. The outer, controlled movement of the same biological pattern is rooted in Dalleth, (archetypal) resistance (to uncontrolled Gimmel on the level above).”
