Re: registration requisites

Kya kare? 25 meaningful posts is prerequisite meaning nothing comes really free in this materialistic world.... not even in this group... :smt005 Gee, are we materialistic or what? Such greed for meaningful words... Tut, tut, no good can come out of that sort of perversion. Better get ourselves a P...

SEEKER'S GUIDELINES Welcome to the Mystic Board Tarot Reading Forum By following these few points we can all help make this forum better. 1. Pirbid I am sorry if you have taken my words the wrong way I was a bit miffed (LOL), after all the work, but I am ready to review the whole thing if everyone agrees. This is the reason I asked for input, including yours. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Negative input is probably more useful, si...

3 months is a long time and will seriously cut down on repeats, it may also be very hard to check if you have to trawl back through 3 months worth of requests to see if someone has posted. Also most readings do not cover the future so situations can change and I usually say no more than one reading...

:smt005 Hey, Sweet! So glad to finally hear from you. I know you must be really busy in the Dream forum and others, so I understand if you have no time to give Tarot readings. But please come check on us once in a while and give us your opinions, like now. Otherwise we might feel sort of abandoned.....

Drafts for the Reading Forum guidelines

Ok, I will try to group all ideas given on the 'To Speak or not to Speak' thread on interesting things to be included/excluded from both the seeker's and the reader's guidelines in the Tarot Reading Forum. I ask you all to peruse them (once more!) and make sure all we discussed is reflected in them....

Start with the Majors!

:) Hi, I thought I would take advantage of this thread already begun by others to give a starting point for those just unwrapping their very first Tarot deck. Begin by separating the 22 Major Arcana from the rest (from 0-The Fool to 21-The World). Then, keeping the Fool at the top or to one side, la...

For AyeCantSeeYou: the Fool's Journey

Take up your Majors, Pack them from 1-7 in one row, the 8-14 in a second row, then 15 to 21 in a third row. The Fool is not part of this "laying" This might be a bit "Greek", but 1-7 is Archetypal, but included and forming the "transition", is 8,9 and Ten, to 8-14 Existential. then 13, 14, 15 is th...

I think its important to remember that the guidelines are there to protect the readers and to give the querants boundaries. I have always felt my job was to quietly and unobtrusively nip and tuck at potential problems and front out overt hostility.  I also as a moderator felt my role was in the bac...

Oh my gosh! I'm trying to get the 'feel' of some of the cards in the major arcana, and now ya'll are talking about the symbols in them and how they relate to other cards. I'm gonna sit quietly and listen to all ya'll have to say on these. :) Ha, no way! You are getting your hands dirty in here like...

:) I enjoy even these discussions about 'to do or not to do', we all seem so different... I love to experiment, so I'm all for trying and, if it doesn't work, then go on to something else. However, I thought we were already into it, with the Aces, Twos, Threes discussions and their links to the Majo...
