Thanks for the information on the tutorials PravinJi. I was not aware of them and must add that I have not seen so much information just on the thumb. Earlier I thought I had a clubbed thumb, but after going through the tutorial I am more confused, whether I have a low set thumb, short thumb, clubbe...

Just to add, I think I have clubbed thumbs(small nails. More on the right hand than the left). What would that mean with respect to my question ?I haven't taken the thumb images yet.
