It's gratifying to know that I can still flummox folks, that's just flat out fun. Anyway, I continued to study reiki after my initial master attunement because I needed to learn more and the fact that these studies came with further attunements was incidental. There is a school of thought that attun...

Re: Reiki Attunements
After reading some of the recent posts I wondered what everyone's ideas are on reiki 'attunements'? It seems generally accepted that the 'attunement' empowers the student to channel reiki? But can we channel reiki without being attuned? Do they have to be carried out in person, or can long distance...

Digging deep here, I thought there was a thread about Karuna. The symbols do give an edge to the energy. I learnt Karuna about 5 years ago the Vinny Amador way, Karuna ki, didn't realise that Mr Rand was discussing franchises lol, wonder what his lineage is like to enable him to think he can do tha...

Hi again! I had difficulty with normal meditation as well which is why Tai Chi worked so well for me. It's movement that segues into a meditative state, don't even have to think about it, just doing the form takes you there in time. Hatha yoga may work for you also as the concept is, I believe, simi...

Hey, SS, Mike has a point. I've found that any discipline promoting balance helps. I switched over to Tai Chi Chuan years ago and it's worked really well when it comes to dealing with people, situations and my reactions to them. It's become all about grace and beauty for me and it's turned out well....

Wow Spiritboxer, I snuck a peek at your profile...you're into martial arts? I'm a purple belt in karate, my dad used to have a karate school years ago when he was alive. :smt002 Yep, started with Goju-Ryu in '64 and switched over to Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan in '79. Still do it everyday along with R...

I have a small set in the bedroom but I don't use it much. Bought it to play video games which I don't have time for anymore so it mostly goes unused. I watch tv in the living room on the bigger set, the channels for the super inquisitive, Science, NGC, AP etc. I soak up information like a sponge, e...
